These days, many older adults living in Armenians rural villages, are struggling to put food on the table. With delays and uncertainty in government assistance programs, countless seniors are unsure if they’ll have enough groceries to last through the month.
Caring Hands Found USA is stepping in to provide immediate relief. We’re working closely with local food establishments and community partners to ensure that older adults receive the nourishment and care they deserve — no one should have to go hungry.

Impacting & improving the lives of seniors
We review each request for assistance on a case-by-case basis. Based on the specific needs of each senior, support may be provided accordingly. Seniors in Armenia are regularly affected by food insecurity, and our foundation is dedicated to addressing this issue through targeted assistance programs.
Currently, there are two active regions involved since the inception of the foundation:

Total number of registered voters: 45,868 people

Number of voters in the Avshar community: 6,904 people

Out of these, 418 voters are currently temporarily abroad

Lori Region Spitak Community:

The total population of Lori region’s Spitak community is 48,367.

According to the Republic of Armenia’s statistical data, the number of households in Lori region’s Spitak community is 9,127.
-
Out of these 9,127 households in Lori region’s Spitak community, 671 households are classified as socially vulnerable according to the social assessment.
